FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

How many dogs do you walk at one time?

I will only walk a maximum of 4 at any one time during our group dog walks. I think about all the dogs and their needs and personalities. I wont mix a group if I can not walk them safely and I want your dog to be happy also.

How do you transport my dog(s) around?

I have a Citroen Belingo Van which is adapted with dog crates in the back. My van has air conditioning also so it’s a nice comfortable journey for your dog.

Will I get to meet you before I book any services?

Yes! I always offer a face to face meeting before any dates are booked in, I think it is important for me to meet your pet(s) and also for you to meet me and get to know me. We can then talk about all your pets needs.

Are you insured and DBS checked?

Absolutely yes. I am fully insured and this includes house key cover and I am DBS CHECKED. I always carry a copy of this so you can see upon my consultations.

What Qualifications do you have?

I am pet first aid trained and have also taken several courses in canine behaviour, pet sitting, dog walking, animal welfare and animal care.

Where do you walk?

I walk in and around the Billingshurst, West Sussex area and where possible I use a safe secure dog field on my longer dog walks. There are lots of lovely places to walk in Billingshurst and surrounding area.

Do you arrange collection and dropping off?

Yes, I can collect your dog from the location of your choice at an agreed time and then I return after the walk.

Does my dog have to be spayed or neutered for you to walk them?

If your dog has not been spayed or neutered then I will arrange a solo walk, this keeps all dogs safe and everyone can then enjoy their dog walk.

Do I need to be home when you collect or drop my dog off?

No, most clients give me a set of keys or use a security key safe box where I have the secure number and I can access the keys that way.

When are you available for all your services listed?

My services are available from 8am-5pm and I also offer evening and weekend services.

What happens in bad weather conditions?

I have wet-weather clothing and we shall enjoy a wet walk regardless. I will always ensure your dog is towel dried before letting them back into your home. For small animals, I work in all weather conditions.

What if the weather is too hot or too cold?

If the weather is either too hot in the summer or cold and icy in the winter, I shall discuss home visits and playing with your dog in the garden instead.

Please note: I do not cover reptiles.

Do you offer dog boarding?

Do you offer longer hours than what is on your price list?

Please do ask if you want longer home visits. I can look at my diary and see what I can do for you. I will always assist where I can and if I can.
